How to Maintain Your Virgin Hair

Nigeria contact: +2347031309117

YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS TO MAINTAIN YOUR BRAZILIAN VIRGIN HAIR:

1. Loop paddled brush- this brush is not an ordinary wig brush. The bristles has loops so that the hair doesn't shed during brushing. Its not as harsh as the typical wig brush which causes a lot of shedding. when untangling your virgin hair, always make sure you start from THE BOTTOM and work your way to the top, using your loop paddled brush. This will make the hair even more unlikely to shed.

 2. Herbal Essences "Hello Hydration"  shampoo and conditioner. It is in a Blue Bottle. I find this shampoo very moisturizing yet gentle on the virgin hair. The key word is MOISTURIZING. during washing if  your virgin hair is installed, only wash while you are in the shower with your BACK FACING THE WATER so that hair is getting wet going in a downward motion. Do not rub while washing instead,  use the "squeeze method". only directly scrub the SCALP as much as possible. Also, while washing  your virgin hair, I recommend condition the virgin  hair as the first step,  then, second step shampoo, and then  last step, CONDITION again. Conditioning the hair as the first step is to prevent tangling during shampooing, and the last step to retain a good moisture. , remember to untangle virgin hair using your LOOP PADDLED BRUSH before getting the virgin hair wet. DO NOT USE EXTREMELY HOT WATER ON YOUR VIRGIN HAIR, this could damage the hair in its self. luke warm to cool water is needed to shampoo and condition the hair. If you purchased wavy textured hair, its best to let it Air dry so that it can wave up to your desire. Conditioning the hair is very important.  During the times that you want to wash your hair while it is installed, you do not always have to shampoo it. Conditioning it is good enough. You want to wash the hair at least once every two weeks.  Do not ever use any African American hair products on your virgin hair. Brazilian hair is actually raw Spanish hair therefore you will need to use Caucasian products. From my experience,  Pantene Pro V MOISTURIZING shampoo and conditioner OR Herbal Essences in a blue bottle called "Hello Hydration" . I find the Herbal essences a better product. The shampoo and conditioner is awesome. I use only those two products when maintenancing virgin hair when servicing my clients.  There's also a product that I like to use called Coconut Milk by a brand called OrganiX . it is a light oil  to moisturize your virgin hair. Again, only a small amount is needed to saturate the hair. you can find it at your local Walgreens, or Walmart. Coconut Milk can be applied on wet or dry hair. Remember, during the washing process, whether you wash your  virgin hair when it is installed or not, NO HOT WATER TEMPERATURES ON YOUR VIRGIN HAIR.

 3. Another good oil for the Virgin hair is Argon Morocco oil . use when you want to moisturize the hair or when it is dry. It's also a good idea to use it prior to blow drying the hair if you choose. *The Brazilian hair goes back to wavy after its wet ONLY if you let it air dry. Blow drying it will make it straight. * Do NOT use any tea tree oil products at ALL on the Brazilian hair this really dries the hair out badly.  Do NOT USE any oil Sheen or lotion moisturizers.   Do NOT use any leave in conditioners...these things will weigh the hair down really bad. When using your Morocco oil, only a DIME SIZE amount is needed to moisturize the entire head. The oil is rich therefore you will only need a small amount or else it makes the hair look weighed down * Brazilian hair iron curls immaculately.  However, you do not want to put heat to this hair every day because you will damage the texture. Consider buying flexible rods to quickly make beautiful curls without damaging the hair. *Should the hair begin to shed, you may want to consider having it taken down and the wefts sealed. I also offer those services for a reasonable fee. Be sure to choose a moisturizing color and deep conditioning if you decide to dye or Ombre' your virgin hair. During my services in maintaining Brazilian hair, I use Creme of Nature because it has an outstanding moisturizing system such as Argon Morocco oil. If you would like to wash the virgin after it is removed, 1.use a big bowl, add warm water to the bowl with about 3-4 drops of shampoo.  2.Use the swishing motion to wash the hair.do not rub the hair, rinse with warm water running in the bowl...repeat the same steps with conditioner. *** Let hair AIR DRY if you are washing it while it is not installed. ***at night keep hair covered in a silk bonnet, or something satin...DO NOT USE OR SLEEP on any cotton material while wearing virgin hair. This will severely dry the hair out. To maintain the wave, put hair in two twists,  pin the hair back before tying silk or satin material on the head. If you have any other questions please feel free to give me a call 443-221-1586. Thanks!

What is Indian Remy Hair?

Remy vs. Non-Remy Remy - Cuticles intact, facing the same direction to reduce tangling Hair will typically have more shine to it and a little smoother texture Non-Remy - cuticles are not facing same direction, which causes more tangling. Also, some processing will completely wipe out the cuticle, which will leave hair shinier but will have more tangling than Remy. NOTE: All Human Hair tangles to an extent. No human hair is perfect, that is how you know it is human. Hair that doesn't have a flaw is almost assuredly synthetic or at least has a synthetic mix. Single Drawn vs. Double Drawn Single Drawn - hair that comes from one single donor (person). A woman's normal hair is not the exact same length throughout. Hair running down her back is going to be longer than hair in the front and middle of her hair, this is normal with human hair. This is why you will get some hairs that are shorter than others; once again this is normal with human hair. (The majority of hair on the retail market is Single Drawn) Double Drawn - hair that comes from multiple donors. Time is taken to pick hairs from multiple donors so that the majority of the hair (about 88-90%) is the same length. This hair is more expensive than Single Drawn hair because it takes much more time to sift through the hair and match up the lengths. Raw Virgin vs. Virgin Raw Virgin - refers specifically to the hair shaved off the head of 14 to 18 year old Hindu Virgins during the Vestial temple renunciation ceremonies. It is very expensive, about 50-65% more expensive than Retail Virgin Indian hair. Virgin - This is hair that has not been processed with chemicals in any way since being shaved from the donor's head. This hair is sold in different grades at the street level (A-C Grade depending on where you get it). Pure Remy uses only A-Grade Virgin Indian Remy in our products. Notes: Look for word play (100% Virgin, Color 1 or 100% Virgin, Romance Curl) Processing Pure Remy uses very light chemical processing when making our textured products. Easier on the hair and safer for the client Will naturally fade over 7-14 days. Chemicals should naturally fade out of the hair over time, if you have to wash the hair multiple times to get the chemical out, the hair has been over-processed. The hair should go back to its natural state after a while, if it doesn't you know it is either synthetic mix or over-processed. Remember, this is 100% Human Hair, it is not perfect (humans are not perfect, neither is their hair). Curling Irons, Flat Irons, Roller Sets This is why proper care and using a Stylist is a necessity! Pure Remy extensions will last 6-9 months (or longer) with proper care, but we do not recommend leaving extensions in longer than 90 days. Hair needs to be cleaned, conditioned and cared for. Leaving hair in longer than this is not good for your natural hair, even if the extensions will last longer than that.

HAIRST
There are a number of hairstyles for people with straight or curly hair. You can choose different kinds of hairstyles like curly hairstyles, emo hairstyles, Japanese hairstyles, long hairstyles, short hairstyles, medium hairstyles and formal hairstyles. However, one must always take into account the shape of his or her face when selecting any type of haircut. Ask your friends and family, or even your barber, for advice. Use the internet to research different styles or log on to virtual hairstyle web sites where you can see how certain styles look on you before setting foot in the salon.

HAIRCUT
Before going for haircut, you can upload your photos and do countless makeovers on a photo of yourself and see what you look like with different hairstyles. But be adventurous! Your hair will always grow back, so experiment and try hairstyles you think may suit you. Patience is important when experimenting with different hairstyles. You may find that many may not complement the shape of your face or your skin tone. But keep trying because hairstyle can change your both your style and image.

With proper care you'll look your best and have our hair for a long time.  With our vast product selection we want to point you in the right direction to help you decide which type of hair is best for you.  Although all the hair types have similarities they do all differ just slightly in how they react to heat, air drying, and water.  Keep in mind all hair types have natural movement and will never shed or tangle.  All hair types we offer are available in straight, wavy, or curly textures.  No matter which hair type you choose there is a chance the colors will not be even through out the weft.  This is normal of hair that originates from sunny countries. INDIAN HAIR When Indian hair extensions dry they tend to create a beautiful wave that ranges for a slight wave to extra wavy.  However, Indian hair is very workable and both straightens and curls very easily.  Indian hair holds curls well but does slightly loosen, never totally falling out unless in a damp or humid environment.  We invite you to explore of offering of our 100% virgin Indian Remy hair. BRAZILIAN HAIR Silkier and shinier than Indian hair, Brazilian hair is offered in wavy, curly, and straight textures.  Brazilian curly hair tend to hold curls well and often maintains curls longer than Indian hair.  Brazilian straight hair textures are mostly straight but tend to curly beautifully at the ends.  We invite you to shop the 100% virgin AAAA grade Brazilian Hair offered by Triple Lengths. PERUVIAN HAIR Peruvian Hair extensions are thicker and a little more coarse than Indian and Brazilian Hair. This hair type blends well with typical African-American relaxed hair textures as well as medium Caucasian hair textures.  Peruvian hair is offered in wavy, curly, and straight textures.  The curly texture tends to be even more curly when wet or washed.  Shop our Peruvian hair now! MALAYSIAN HAIR Silkier and softer than Peruvian Hair, Malaysian Hair can first appear as too shinny but after a couple of washes the shine lessens and the appearance blends to a more natural look.  Curls will last all day and do not loosen or drop and no hair product is required to maintain the shape.  It is advised to avoid oily sprays to prevent a wig-like appearance.  Shop our Malaysian hair.

What's the Difference between Brazilian, Malaysian, Peruvian Hair?

There are some differences between all 3 types of hair. The differences are more apparent in the hair's reaction to water, heat or air drying. You will defiantly notice the difference after a couple weeks of wear.

SIMILARITIES
All virgin hair types have natural movement and should have minimal shedding and tangling. Each texture can be processed in wavy, straight or curly. With virgin Hair you will notice colors are not even through out the bulk. You will find a few strands maybe lighter or darker than the rest of the weft. This is normal and typical of hair from a sunny country where hair lightens with exposure to the sun.

DIFFERENCES
Brazilian Hair - It comes from the pacific of Brazil and its derived in different lengths and natural colors. Brazilian hair is one of the most beautiful types of hair around. It is known for its full body, beautiful bounce, texture and versatility. This hair has a shiny appearance and feel. It is available in wavy, straight or curly textures. The Straight textures are not bone straight but tends to have some light waves in it. This hair holds curls very well and tends to hold curls longer than the Indian Hair. This type of hair is usually soft and smooth. Texture may vary from natural straight to natural full bouncy body wave. The use of this type of hair is popular in most west-african countries. This type of hair last for as long as you take good care of it. It doesn’t require special maintenance. Brazilian hair is good for all hairstyles. It holds curls beautifully and curls when wet.    Malaysian Hair - Malaysian hair at first can appear excessively shiny but after the first 2/3 washes the shine lessens considerably to take on a more natural appearance. Curls will not loosen or drop with time but maintain their form for the entire day. No product is required to maintain the curl. Avoid using too oil spray on this hair as it will make the hair very shiny and appear 'wiggy'. Malaysian hair is softer and silker in texture than Indian hair. If you want volume and thickness, Malaysian hair is your best option. It gives great bounce and heavy body. It is great for all styles. Malaysian hair comes naturally dark in color and natural straight. Due to its fullness, it can have a tendency to be dry if proper care isn’t taken. We recommend that sufficient moisture in the form of good leave-in conditioner be used after the second re-use of the hair. The good thing is that this type of hair requires less wash because of its heavy density.   Peruvian Hair - This hair is a little coarser and thicker in texture than Malaysian or Brazilian hair. It blends well with normal African-American relaxed hair textures and medium Caucasian hair textures. Peruvian hair has been growing in popularity 2010. Peruvian hair is multi purpose hair. It has the ability to look naturally voluminous despite the fact it is lightweight. Meaning, you can have over 5 bundles of hair and yet it feels very lightweight. It is extremely manageable even in times when hair isn’t maintained properly. Peruvian hair is great for sleek straight styles as well as short & edgy styles.   DO'S AND DON'TS   1. Air drying is highly recommended for all hair types and u part wigs after washing and conditioning.   2. Perform a co-wash at least once in 2-3 weeks.   3. Try to always use a moisturizing leave in conditioner. Avoid having to use any other styling products between washes.   4. Use alcohol free serums or products on hair. This will not dry out the hair and make it frizzy.   5. Do not apply any heavy oils on hair as they will seep on to the hair extensions or wigs, in turn weighing it down and resulting in restricted movement and potential tangling.

FASHION FRAT PARTY AT STELLA MCCARTNEY

I walked into Stella McCartney's autumn 2014 presentation feeling a little intimidated. It was held at the Harold Pratt House, the stately home of the Council on Foreign Relations, on the Upper East Side. I felt underdressed and uncool as I sidled past Maggie Gyllenhaal and Liv Tyler who were sipping on flutes of champagne. I left, an hour later, slightly doused in champagne, with a big grin on my face.

 Here's what happened in between.

Stella McCartney's presentations have always got a bit of whimsy about them. This one had a lot: enough sugary treats to rot holes in even the most well attended pearly whites (including giant marzipan cakes made to look like Stella McCartney bags and a chocolate fountain), hopscotch, tricked out Mini Coopers for models to play bumper cars in, and a whiplash-inducing guest list. There was Patti Smith in one corner, Alec Baldwin in another, Susan Sarandon coming down the stairs, the Seinfelds, Parker Posey, Blythe Danner, and more.

Thankfully none of the aforementioned bold faced names happened to be upstairs in the converted bumper cars room, where models clad in McCartney's stellar (and obviously comfortable) pre-fall collection packed two and three to a car, gleefully smashed into each other, nearly missing many guests who proved surprisingly nimble in their stilettos. I was not one of the nimble ones and got in between Hanne Gaby Odiele, still holding her champagne flute from behind the wheel, and a table holding some oversized Stella bags and a few bottles of champagne. Down went the bags and the bottles, and I got a nice misting of champagne.

TOM FORD IS COOL WITH HAYDEN PANETTIERE WEARING ONE OF HIS DESIGNS OFF THE RACK

Hayden Panettiere showed up to the Golden Globes wearing a sleek black and white Tom Ford gown. "It's the first time I've ever worn him, because I've been begging ever since," she gushed to E!'s Giuliana Rancic. "I feel sexy in it, I feel comfortable in it, and I'm in Tom Ford. I would wear a plastic bag if it was designed by him." Sure, Panettiere looked sexy, but her dress made headlines for other reasons. See, Tom Ford tends to dress one leading lady per awards show and usually it's Ford muse Julianne Moore. His PR confirmed that Naomi Watts was wearing his designs to the Golden Globes but there wasn't a peep about Panettiere. That's because Panettiere bought her dress—gasp—off the rack. She wanted it that bad she did what any normal person would do... she bought it.

Betty Adewole: Catwalk CV

BETTY ADEWOLE has a name, and a face, that you won't forget - and the fashion industry isn't likely to let you try this year, since she's set to be one of 2014's hottest models. Scouted at 15 in her hometown of London - shopping on Tottenham Court Road, to be precise - the model has politely dismissed comparisons with another capital-born model, Naomi Campbell, asserting that, while flattered, she is "very different". After a steady start, the turning point in her career was being signed by IMG last year, and subsequently cutting her waist-length hair into a boyish crop - forcing designers in search of a new look to take notice. From her debut on the catwalks of Loewe and Maison Martin Margiela during the spring/summer 2011 season, Adewole has become one of the industry's most sought-after catwalk faces. With appearances in some of fashion's biggest shows - from Alexander McQueen and Tom Ford to Stella McCartney and Givenchy - under her belt, she's likely to give fellow Londoners Jourdan Dunn and Cara Delevingne a run for their money in the popularity stakes when the shows begin next month.

Ronaldo Is World Footballer Of The Year 2013

Cristiano Ronaldo has won the 2013 Fifa Ballon d'Or at an awards ceremony in Zurich, ending Lionel Messi's four-year reign as holder of the crown. Real Madrid forward Ronaldo clinched the prize for the world's best player for the second time in his career after finishing ahead of Barcelona playmaker Messi and Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery in the voting.   Ronaldo had finished runner-up three times in the past four years to Messi since winning both the Ballon D'Or and Fifa World Player of the Year in 2008, before the two trophies became one. Portugal captain Ronaldo has been in phenomenal goalscoring form and in 2013 he netted 62 goals in 52 games for club and country.   That was not enough to help Madrid pick up any silverware or lead Portugal to an automatic qualifying berth to this summer's World Cup finals, but he did produce a number of memorable individual performances.    Among them was in the World Cup qualifying play-offs when he struck all four goals - including a brilliant second-leg hat-trick - as Portugal beat Sweden 4-2 on aggregate to book their spot in Brazil. An emotional Ronaldo, who was fighting back the tears as he received the award on Monday night, said: "First of all I have to say a great thanks to all of my team-mates with the club and the national team. "Without all of their efforts this would not have been possible. I am very happy, it is very difficult to win this award. "Everybody that has been involved with me on a personal level I have to thank. My wife, my friends, my son. It is a tremendously emotional moment. All I can say is thank you to everybody that has been involved."

Nollywood Divorce The Real Truth Behind Comedienne Princess’ Marriage Collapse

Many of her fans were shocked that the much hyped marriage of Nigerian comedienne Princess, (Damilola Adekoya), could pack up like badly arranged cards barely 7 months after it was held. But what many did not know was that the marriage was doomed before it started as it is being reported that 2 weeks after the May 8th, 2013, high profile wedding, Princess and her hubby, movie producer cum director, Adeshola Jeremiah began experiencing some hiccups that ultimately led to them having the now famous incompatibility issues. Those close to her say she had been inundating them with stories of how her marriage crashed due to irreconcilable differences but insiders are pointing fingers at her extravagant way of life as the reason her husband could no longer cope with her. An inside source hinted that Jeremiah got tired of Princess’ high profile lifestyle, her penchant for parties and events and could not continue living with a woman who placed a premium on such a life rather than being a wife. But some others who are sympathetic to Princess say the producer married her believing that she had a lot of money and could sponsor his movies but when she would not bulge to his incessant demands for money, she had to call it quits. Well, be that as it may, they all boil down to ‘irreconcilable differences.’
